This is a fantastic app. I have never had any probs scanning , but even so they have a manual way of keying in the code . You wont regret d/l this app !!

I havent stopped using this app since I got it. Its so helpful especially when the ingredients are typed small enough to fit on a grain of rice (which is vegan btw).

Never spent more than $1 on an app but this one is worth it! There was a lot of time and effort put into this! Highly recommended!!!

Ive tried other similar apps but none of them came close to this one. "Is it vegan?" is reliable and a vegans best friend to take shopping with you! No more reading label after label as you shop for food. Let "Is it vegan?" do it for you. Share it with your friends theyll thank you!!

A vegan friend told me about this app, and I love it! Perfect for a quick check at the store, or foods already in the pantry. The information is accurate and detailed. Very much worth the price for this vegan. : )

I like it ..fast and very accurate good choice when you do not feel like reading a whole War and Peace on the package.

Although many people use this app to avoid reading labels, I have found the app useful in learning about ingredients that I was unaware of that are vegan.

I cant tell you how many times this app helped me while I was at the grocery. There are many ingredients that you dont think are non-vegan that can slip by. If youre vegan or vegetarian, you owe it to yourself to pick this app up.

This app has so much potential for awesomeness. Sometimes it scans perfectly and tells you what is vegan. But only about 1 of every 3 or 4 scans shows as the correct item. And I havent scanned any unusual brand of food or beverage with it. Very typical brands and common vegan foods dont yet scan correctly. I look forward to future updates.

This would get five stars but I cant get the scanner to work. It just scans and scans but never focuses on the barcode no matter how many times I tap it. The ingredient search is great, but not worth $5. Im not sure if its because I have an older phone with the old OS but Im super disappointed.

Very enlightening. Foods I thought for sure were animal free are not. Like veggie burgers have Whey and egg whites. Yuck. Eye opening.

It really helps me out when I dont see the ingredient know what it is, or when the list of ingredients is to long.

I have had this app for a week and have only been able to successfully scan one item and get results. The scan feature AND search feature continuously time out. Its incredibly frustrating and very disappointing! :(

This app is worth $4.99 if you are a vegan. If you are not a vegan then this app is not for you. I can not see why a person would rate this app less than four stars. I do agree the scanner could be better. I rate this app five stars because its capability of letting you know what is vegan outweighs the short coming of the scanner. You can also type in the bar code manually. Overall, great app : )

This app definitely helps me whenever I go shopping for myself.

This app would be awesome if it worked. Its only successful about half of the time. Especially this past week it will not scan or search. I keep getting a "Error with connection" message. Its very frustrating when your choosing which products to buy. There are also a lot of top name brands that arent listed/found in this app. Pls fix these issues and Ill be one happy Vegan!

The free app was okay however since I purchased the paid version it recognizes just about nothing. A total waste of money and no help at all at this point!
